"In our most recent Hurco Customer Spotlight video we visited Photon Automation based out of Greenfield, IN. We want to thank William Huffman CEO of Photon Automation and Tom Hassos for taking the time to chat with us. Bill tells us about the history of Photon Automation, why they chose Hurco as their machine tool builder, and how their revolutionary patented laser technology is powering emerging markets today."

To support our community and local non-profit organizations, we decided to set up a food drive to help support the Hancock County Food Pantry. The organization was only asking for monetary donations due to the current pandemic. Every gift of $1 helped purchase $9 worth of food for the pantry. In nine business days, PHOTON was able to raise $2,000 dollars which technically helped purchase $18,000 worth of food. We have so many things to be thankful for and we wanted to pay it forward to ensure that our community didn't go hungry during the holidays. Attached is a photo of us handing over the check. We appreciate all the hard work from the dedicated staff and volunteers in their quest to make sure that bellies in our community are filled.

That’s right, it has been 20 revolutions around the sun since the inception of Photon Automation, Inc. At a minimum, it has taken over 41,740 hours for us to grow into the company we are today. This doesn’t include the countless nights, weekends, and holidays we have all spent grinding to perfect each project. While reflecting on that number, the technological advancements in that span of time are astronomical. We are not the same company that we were when we started. Albert Einstein said it best, “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” Instead of resisting change, Photon has chosen to embrace the opportunity for growth. We simplify complex problems by harnessing our ability to use imaginative ideas, divergent thought processes, and world class ingenuity to breed successful and proven results. Putting it simply, we push the boundaries and form our own path. We are only as good as the people we work with and we are celebrating the tenacious and unwavering minds who have made us who we are today. Cheers to who we are, how far we have come, and where we are going! WE ARE PHOTON!
